Are you visiting Europe’s most powerful horticultural trade fair, IPM Essen (D), this week?
For the Show Your Colours Award IPM 2025, ten plants have been nominated. All IPM exhibitors with woody outdoor plants and perennials were invited to submit plants or plant concepts for this competition. From the submissions, ten plants/plant concepts were ultimately nominated.
The Show Your Colours Award IPM was introduced to encourage exhibitors to spotlight their products with an added value. Whether it’s through a label, an attractive pot, a smart concept, or simply by sharing more information about the plant, these elements can help generate extra attention.

From the submissions, the following ten plants/plant concepts, listed alphabetically, have been nominated for the Show Your Colours Award IPM 2025:

Judging
The nominated plants will be showcased during the trade fair in the Show Your Colours presentation in Hall 8. On Tuesday, January 28, Wednesday, January 29, and Thursday morning, January 30, all visitors can cast their vote for their favorite plant using tokens.
On Thursday afternoon, the plants and their stories will be evaluated by a professional jury. The jury’s verdict, combined with the visitors’ votes, will determine the winner. The result will be announced at 3:00 PM at the BIZZ Holland booth in Hall 8.
