Roselily is a distinctive and specific segment of double-flowered lilies with unique properties.
– They have a less strong fragrance compared to other lilies.
– The flowers have no stamens … so pollen free.
– The flowers resemble roses when they open.
The Roselily, therefore, has no stamens, which means they don’t stain clothing and have a milder scent than most other lily varieties. These are two properties that make consumers often extra cautious with ‘ordinary’ lilies.
Tip: Consumers can also place the flowers outside or in the conservatory if it does not freeze. This way, the Roselily has an extra-long vase life.
